How can I schedule a tour to see Sundown Farms?
Reservations are required for individual and group tours. Call or email us and we will be happy to accommodate your request. However, to offer our couples full privacy, we do not offer tours during the day of an event.

What is included in the venue fee when I book Sundown Farms? How can I book the venue for my event?
A read and signed contract along with a $1500.00 nonrefundable retainer fee is required to book an event or wedding. We do not require your balance to be paid in full until 15 days before your event. Any monies paid toward your balance are also nonrefundable.

Do you offer discounts (Military, Senior, etc.)
In order to be fair to everyone, we do not offer discounts. However, Monday–Friday and Sunday events have a lower rental fee than Saturday events, and are a great way to keep room in the budget.

Can I host a reception only at the venue?
Please ask about pricing for one day events.

What is the cancellation policy? If I cancel will my deposit be refunded?
Venue reservation fees and all payments made, regardless of due date, are non-transferable and non-refundable if you cancel the event. We highly recommend that in addition to purchasing Wedding Liability Insurance, you also purchase Wedding/Event Cancellation Insurance which would cover any unexpected change of plans before your event.

Can I set up the day before my wedding or earlier than 12:00 pm on Friday?
You will not be permitted to begin set-up the day before your event. All setup will be restricted to the rental period. If Sundown Farms is available the day before your event you have the option to pay an early set up fee at a discounted rate.

Do I meet with someone prior to the event?
Two meetings will be scheduled and those will take place 60 days prior and 15 days prior to the event date. At the 60-day meeting, you are expected to provide a full list of your vendors, rough floor plan and timeline. Fifteen days prior to the event, you are expected to provide your final floor plan and final timeline

Do you offer onsite wedding and reception coordination?
We do have a wedding director at additional cost. Ask for details.

Can we rehearse at Sundown Farms?
Our wedding packages include Friday and Saturday. The rehearsal and rehearsal dinner can all take place at Sundown Farms.

Do you have areas for the bridal and grooms party to get ready?
Yes, our wedding packages include one room for the groom and groomsman to get ready and the Murphy House for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. The deluxe package includes lodging of all of the rooms Friday and Saturday night.

Are we responsible for tables, chairs, linens, silverware or plates?
Sundown Farms will provide tables and chairs for use included in the rental price. We do not provide linens. Dishes available for use and available for rental.

How do I provide you with a floor plan for my event?
You will meet with a Sundown Farms team member 15 days prior to your event to discuss layout.

Can I hire my own vendors (caterer, coordinator, DJ, etc.), or must I select from a preferred vendor list?
You are welcome to pick your own vendors, but we do have a recommended vendor list for you. Caterers must be licensed and insured.

Can I take bridal portraits at the venue?
Yes, once you reserve your wedding date you can come take engagement and or bridal photos.

Can I visit the venue for planning after I book?
Yes, please call and set an appointment time. We do not offer tours or planning during events.

What are the restrictions on decor? What is the policy on candles?
When decorating at Sundown Farms we do not allow any nails, tacks, hooks or anything that will make a hole or mark. No tape, 3M hooks or anything sticky. Décor must be free standing or executed with floral wire, fishing line, string, or zip ties. We do allow live flame but it must be contained to catch any wax.

Does your venue provide alcohol?
Sundown Farms does not provide alcohol. You are welcome to bring alcohol in.

Does my event require Security?
We do not require onsite security but you are welcome to add that yourself.

Do you require event insurance?
We require that each of our couples obtain event insurance for $1,000,000 liability, and if you are serving alcohol, you are required to get the additional alcohol insurance. It is a great idea to add on cancellation insurance to cover you in case anything happens prior to your event. This can be purchased through wedsafe.com and typically cost around $175.00.

Does Sundown Farms allow pets on the premises?
Your pets may be allowed to be a part of your outdoor ceremony. They must be house trained.
